Corrigendum to "Nonsymplectic automorphisms of prime order on O'Grady's sixfolds"

The 2022 paper being corrected studied special symmetries of a particular class of geometric objects called O'Grady's sixfolds. These are six-dimensional mathematical spaces with a rich geometric structure, and the original paper attempted to classify all symmetries of prime order that interact with that structure in a specific way (called "nonsymplectic"). The classification relied heavily on the theory of lattices, which are discrete grid-like structures that encode important algebraic information about these spaces.

In carrying out that classification, the authors of the original paper missed some cases. The current short note identifies exactly which cases were overlooked and explains why they were missed. The errors arose in the lattice-theoretic analysis, where certain valid configurations were not accounted for in the original enumeration.

The correction fills in these gaps by carefully recovering the missing cases and showing how they fit into the overall classification. The main results of the original paper remain largely intact, but the complete picture now includes additional entries that were previously absent. This kind of corrective note is a normal and healthy part of mathematical research, ensuring that classification results are accurate and complete for others who might build on them.
